What is

ENDODONTICS ?

It is the department of dentistry that intervenes in the area we call the pulp, where the nerve and vascular package of the tooth is located, due to caries, trauma or infection.
In this section, root canal treatment is performed by cleaning and disinfecting the infected nerves and vessels in the root canals of the tooth and filling the canal filling materials.

The process of re-canal treatment of teeth that have previously had root canal treatment is called. Root canal treatment may fail as a result of incomplete filling of the canals of the tooth, perforation in the canals or poor restoration.
